About Us

Eco2Energy is a Taupō-based company founded by Nick Papa and Ronnie Isgleas, two skilled engineers with a strong background in the dairy industry. Originally from Argentina, Nick and Ronnie made New Zealand their home over 12 years ago, bringing with them a passion for innovation and sustainable solutions.

Nick has over 20 years’ experience as a refrigeration engineer, while Ronnie holds a degree in food engineering, a master’s in business management, and brings more than 10 years of hands-on experience in the New Zealand dairy industry. Together, they saw a real opportunity to help farmers tackle rising energy costs and protect milk quality.

Motivated to make a difference, they founded Eco2Energy to support dairy farmers with next generation, renewable energy systems that reduce electricity usage, save money, and increase milk quality. Eco2Energy systems are built around high-performance milk cooling and water heating technology powered by natural CO₂ refrigerant – a clean, efficient, and future-ready alternative to traditional systems.

We work alongside our customers to deliver practical, affordable energy solutions tailored to their farm’s needs. We’re passionate about helping farmers save money, run more efficiently, and build a more sustainable future.
